This winter will see Festival Place transform into your “Festive” Place, with a range of Christmas activities and events for the whole family.

The Christmas entertainment will kick off on Friday 13th November with the centre’s famous annual light switch on to an incredible firework display.  Marking the official start of Christmas, the event will include performances from ‘Walk Like A Man’ Jersey Boys tribute act featuring four West End vocalists, the Military Wives Choir and some of the best Sound Stage acts from the recent Summer Festival.

The 13th November will also see the launch of Festival Place’s Christmas Experience, where families will have the chance to hop on a train and meet Santa with his elves.

Bargain hunters will be pleased to hear that Friday 27th November will see the centre host the ultimate discount event, Black Friday, where Festival Place’s major retailers will be putting on hundreds of money saving deals for customers.

The Christmas activities will continue on Sunday 6th December, with a Santa Parade marching through the centre to get the whole family into the festive spirit.

The Festival Place team will also be working hard to make sure the Christmas shopping experience is as easy and stress-free for customers as possible – With their special Festival Place ‘Elf Services’ pop-up Christmas shop.   Whether a customer is looking for the best gifts to buy, need help with their shopping bags or just want some directions, Festival Place’s Christmas helpers will be on hand to assist.

To keep up to date with details of these and other upcoming events at Festival Place visit www.festivalplace.co.uk  or find them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Nearly back to “normal” on NHM… ;-)

It’s the last day of school today for two weeks! Yay! Or not for some Mum’s :-D.

I’m working on posting up a “Things to do for Easter holidays” for tomorrow morning, so hopefully that will be useful. It will have suggestions for posts to read for Activities at Home, Indoor Places to visit and Outdoor Places to visit. Just in case the weather for Easter turns nasty, as the lovely weathermen are predicting.

(I can’t wait for Spring to get here, and if it doesn’t arrive this year I’m maxing out the credit card and going somewhere hot in summer!)

This has been one of the most bizarre weeks of my life. Yes, cryptic, but will share more as, and when, I can. In the meantime, check out these historical posts on NHM that you may find interesting:
