Ann Hoad Consultancy Ltd, Training Consultant and Personal Development Life Coach

I met Ann at a recent meeting with Basingstoke over Business, a networking group that operates on a Friday morning at BCOT.

I mentioned to Ann about doing a Guest Post on NHM and she suggested that we meet up to see if she could help me.

We met for an hour and had a really good chat about everything that is going on in my life. As I mentioned at the beginning of the year, my focus this year is on my health, but I have been struggling with getting going on my training for the Big Wheel Bike ride that I will be doing for St Michael’s hospice in July.

Ann asked me some leading questions, to get me to think about why I’m my motivation is low.

I came away from our meeting hugely fired up! So much so that I got home and got my bike out and went out for a 20 minute ride on it! Which I really hadn’t expected to do.

If you are struggling with an area of your life and you think you might need a bit of support, from someone who is very supportive and encouraging, and actually gets you to focus on the things you need too, then I highly recommend speaking to Ann to see how she can help you.

I enjoyed speaking to her so much and found the session so worthwhile that I am going to continue my coaching journey with her, to ensure that I’m focusing on the most important things in my life.

Hi – my name is Ann and I am a qualified Personal Development Life Coach. I am passionate about supporting and helping people in order for them to make positive changes in their lives. Confidence and managing change are the areas I am coach in, however, there are other areas that I coach in too such as career change.

I have gained a lot of work and life experience throughout my life and can empathise with people when things aren’t going right for them. Coaching is not about giving advice, however, I work with the individuals in order for them to increase their awareness, confidence and help them recognise realistically where they want to go and what they want to achieve. Some people get there quicker than others, however, the results are still amazing and empowering.

Everyone experiences many changes in our lives whether prompted by us or influenced by outside factors outside of our control. These can range from:
• Losses in relationship – divorce or loss of a loved one
• Personal changes – change in career or relocation
• Changes in home life – having a baby or older children leaving home
• Work and financial changes – redundancy, change in career, taking on a mortgage
• Inner changes – changes to what we believe in or our values

Society is moving and changing faster and more frequently than at any other time and the transition is different for everyone, however, there is a process that everyone goes through although not everyone experiences the same things.

The transition may consist of:

Going through any part of the transition period is normal, however, when one door shuts another opens and important beginnings can happen in the most unexpected places.  Some people even say “that was the best thing that could have happened!”.

I can help you through change in a confidential and non-judgemental environment.  I offer a free initial session to ensure that coaching is the right path for you.

Thank you
